Whats an app that freezes and closes the page that you want to read? Hmm… This app!!! That still hasnt been fixed for a ridiculously long time.

This used to be my favorite app, now it no longer works and now you can no longer open any articles without it crashing.

How many crappy, one-star reviews does your busted app need to get before you fix it? DO SOMETHING! I WANT MY DNEWS BACK!!

Like many others are saying, this app crashes as soon as you click on an article. Its been completely unusable for months and months. Used to be great. Ridiculous.

App is very informative but as I click on certain articles i am kicked out the app entirely.. Fix it please.

This used to be an interesting app. Unfortunately, it now crashes every time it is opened on my iPad.

I would give this app a zero if I could as it is essentially useless!! This was by far one of my favorite apps until they changed the "look" a while ago. I dont remember exactly when this was but it seems like it has been at least a year. Ever since the update the app crashes at least 90% of the time when you try to open an article. It is completely baffling to me that an entity thats stated mission is to disseminate science and tech information would go to the trouble of completely revamping this app and then seemingly immediately abandon it. More baffling still is the fact that the content on the app is continually updated. Problem is, there is no way to access the articles due to crashes noted above. More frustrating still is the lack of a "support/bug report" option within the app commonly found in most apps. There has been more than enough time to address these issues. I have been reluctant to delete this app because it has such potential, but after so much time it seems that Discover is unwilling/unable to render it functional.

It would be a 5 star app if it didnt crash all the time. The crashes seem to be related to when it loads ads...which is all the time.

Discovery News went downhill from a pretty neat ap to less than two seconds of news. When you click on the first headline the ap shuts down. LESS THAN WORTHLESS.

Has potential to be the most interesting news app but crashes all day everyday

I download this app to geek out about all the latest science news, only to find that I can read only about 1 in 10 articles without the app crashing. I installed it on my iPhone 5s, 1st gen iPad, 4th gen iPad AND iPad Air (all with different versions of Apples IOS) with no luck. Too bad...

I downloaded the app after finding the YouTube channel. I was looking forward to the resource, yet both my iPhone and iPad have NO sound in the videos when sound is perfectly functional in any other app. SAD!!!

Used to love the app, and I love the articles...but I only get about 30 seconds of reading before the app freezes on me. Wish they would fix it :-/

I want to like it but 90% of the time i load an article the ad banner times out before loading an ad and the app crashes. If the ad banner loads the ad content right away then the app doesnt crash. The articles appear to have no problem loading. It appears a bad contingency is programed in where it causes an exception crash if the ad banner doesnt return a result in time.

Not surprising for an app that hasnt had an update since 2014 (not exaggerating), this app is glitchy now. Its sad, really. I used to really love this app and would read almost every article. Why bother updating articles on an app that you dont bother to update and fix?

This use to be a great app. However, about a year ago it started crashing when you open stories. The content is great if you are willing to open the app 3-4 times before you can read anything. The most stable thing is the home screen.
